About Britannia Harrison & Rowley

Britannia Harrison & Rowley, established in 1922, is one of the founding members of Britannia Movers International PLC, and are a family owned professional removal and storage company.

This enabled us to offer our customers all the resources and expertise of one of the UK’s most respected moving organisations, enhanced by a unique personal service. The business originally started as a furniture shop in Bedford, and subsequently moved into the removals industry.

After expanding to three warehouses in Bedford, Harrison & Rowley relocated to St. Neots to a purpose-built facility, with a fleet of 10 trucks.

Britannia Harrison & Rowley were the first Bedford removals company to be awarded the British Standard BS EN 12522 (Domestic Removals for Private Individuals). As well as domestic removals, we also provide office moves and international moves.

In 2024, Britannia Alan Cook expanded by acquiring neighbouring Britannia Harrison & Rowley, further strengthening their presence and capabilities in the region.
