History

Leonard Willis set up the company in 1929, which was eventually continued by his three sons, John, Jeff and Vim. The company initially focused on parcel delivery in the Yorkshire Dales and was based in the old mill in Skipton.

Britannia Willis went into removals fully after the end of WWII, and purchased its current site 35 years ago. Britannia Willis has been run by the Willis family for four generations and has expanded greatly since the beginning.

While initially focusing on local removals in Yorkshire, the company joined Britannia Movers International and is nowadays able offer a range of comprehensive removal services, whether you are moving within the UK, moving to Europe or moving overseas.
