Yeovil House Removals

A vibrant market town in Somerset, Yeovil has a population of 40,000. It’s position on the Fosse Way (now the A37) between Dorchester and Ilchester makes it much easier for people to reach, and we have the Romans to thank for that. Its modern pedestrian shopping precinct recalls the town’s Roman roots in its name, the Quedam, while housing many national retailers. The town centre also has a major department store, countless specialist shops and outdoor markets on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Yeovil is very much happy medium for those looking to live within easy reach of a town with excellent facilities but who still want the quality of life associated with the many pretty villages of the surrounding South Somerset countryside.

Moving to Yeovil

Yeovil has a lot of residential areas, with new builds going up regularly. Due to areas around the town being a little less than desirable, many choose to live on the outskirts in areas such as Mudford, Marston Magna, and Queen Camel.

Terraced properties are the big seller in Yeovil, with these homes fetching an average price of £148,772. Semi-detached properties can be bought for somewhere in the region of £177,137, and detached properties, £287,126.

The Britannia Lanes of Somerset office is under an hour’s drive away from Yeovil, in Bridgwater. Not only can we help you with all aspects of your move, we can also help with any storage requirements you have.
