Shopping in Luton

Particularly loved on Sundays is Luton’s The Mall shopping centre, with stores such as Footlocker, JD Sports and  Primark and some great restaurants and coffee shops for a much earnt rest.

Bury Park is just a mile away from Luton and is becoming exceedingly popular. It is a shopping destination championed for its market, which is home to fashion retailers, and food stalls.

For those who fancy popping out of Luton, the Malting Shopping Centre in St Albans is just a 20-minute drive away, or 10-minute train journey and has a number of loved fashion and jewellery brands.

Transport Links Luton

Luton’s traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour, with many who work in or around the town opting to take one of the many buses that serve the town and residential areas which benefit from using the dedicated bus lanes which bypass the majority of traffic. However, there are also a number of services travelling to local and regional areas.

Luton has three railway stations; Luton, Luton Airport Parkway, and Leagrave. All of the stations sit on the same line which connects with nearby Dunstable, Welwyn Garden City, and Chiltern Green. There are also regular trains into London from each of the stations.

Frequent business flyers living in the town will benefit from having Luton Airport on their doorstep. There are numerous flights per day to various domestic and European destinations.
