After 37 years as a removal man Shaun Anson (Director of Britannia Willis) has finally hung up his steel-toe caps and hi viz jacket to be replaced by new gardening gloves and walking boots.
Dan Willis (Managing Director) tells HB, “Shaun joined the family business (Willis of Skipton) after marrying Jane Willis. He started as a removals porter before spending some time as a removals driver then moving onto estimating. He has spent most of his 37 years with Willis as an estimator & also director. Shaun was awarded his company Mercedes car & some vintage Whisky by Britannia Willis to celebrate his retirement.”
Shaun said’ “it has been an honour to have been able to share the wealth of knowledge within the Britannia family and to have met lots of lovely people along the way. Good luck to you all in the future.”
Best wishes Shaun on a well-deserved and exciting retirement!
Shaun’s roll as estimator has been filled by Jonathan Millington who has been promoted, again he has worked his way through the ranks of porter & driver & been with Britannia Willis for nearly 30 years. (pictured here with Shaun) Congratulations Jonathan on your promotion, we wish you every success!
