About Wymondham
Wymondham is a market town in South Norfolk, around 12 miles south-west of Norwich. The civil parish of Wymondham is one of the largest in Norfolk and includes the hamlets of Suton, Spooner Row, and Wattlefield. The town is popular for commuters to Norwich, Cambridge and London.
Wymondham has a shopping area around a market square, that features both major retailers and independent shops. A town rich in history, there are a number of listed buildings around the area. Wymondham Bridewell, the former jail built in 1787, now houses the Wymondham Heritage Museum where visitors can discover all about the history of the town with special exhibitions and permanent displays. Wymondham is also well known for its Benedictine Abbey, founded in 1107 and still used as a church today.

The town is served by buses that run from the town centre to Norwich in around 30 minutes. There are also buses to Norfolk and Norwich University hospital, Attleborough, and Watton, with a coach service to London.
The A11 runs by Wymondham, connecting the town to other areas of the country. Driving to Norwich takes around 25 minutes and driving to London takes between 2 and a half hours and 2 hours and 45 minutes. Driving to Cambridge takes just over an hour.
