Charitable Work
Britannia Movers charitable fundraising
Britannia Movers is a cooperative organisation working on both local and international levels, so we have always looked to support small charities rooted in the communities we serve as well as fundraising for well-known nationwide and international organisations. The team members in our 40+ local depots plan and carry out their own fundraisers throughout the year, often linked to charities and causes that are personal to them. From sponsoring road safety programs for schools to aiding major charities in the developing world, all Britannia Member companies are committed to making a positive impact. Here are just a few of our recent fundraisers:

The Britannia Team took a pie in the face
The Britannia Movers central office team came together for a charity event that brought laughter, generosity and more than a little custard! Inspired by a staff member’s personal connection to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, several brave colleagues volunteered to have custard pies thrown in their faces—all in the name of raising funds for this important cause.
As part of the charity’s Big Yellow Friday event, the team also created a yellow-themed hamper, which was raffled off to further boost donations.
Shortly afterwards they held an auction at Britannia’s annual conference which raised substantial funds for the charity. A grand total of £5,137 was raised, contributing significantly to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation’s vital work.
