We’re the team that will look after you throughout your move. We’ve got a wealth of experience to help you right from Mark our director, Trevor and Doug our surveyors, Darren our operations manager and Lynn and Pam who are our customer service advisors.
We have huge experience in our operations crews who have moved most things over the years, we’re struggling to remember much that has fazed them. All our staff receive regular training, no matter how long they’ve been working for us and we run a modern, well-maintained fleet of vehicles of all different sizes so that we have the staff and vehicle to suit your move.

UK Home Moving

We can help with a full packing service, a part packing service or supply packing materials to you so that you can pack yourself. Your furniture and effects will be wrapped and protected whilst being moved, we will protect your home and we offer a full range of insurance products to give you peace of mind throughout what can be a stressful time.
Storage Solutions
We offer specialised container storage at our purpose built facility. Storage containers are brought to your address on our vehicles where they are packed and loaded safely on site. An inventory is taken and the storage container is then sealed, brought back to our warehouse and then stowed safely away via forklift transfer. This cuts down the amount of furniture handling required and redelivery when required is a simple case of reloading the storage containers, travelling to your new address and placing the furniture and contents as necessary.
Overseas Shipping
If you’re moving abroad, we offer a range of services to include full container loads, groupage of part load consignments, baggage services, airfreight consignments and also car and pet shipping. We chose Britannia Bradshaw because we had used Britannia on our previous move so knew we would get excellent service. Despite 3 cancelled dates we were treated with compassion, care and efficiency. We were accommodated to fit our dates and the office staff were so friendly and helpful and reassuring that they would be able to meet our requirements. On the day before our move, which was only 5 miles away, we had Josh, Craig & Kemp turn up. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had 2 van loads and the 1st day they filled van 1 and part of van 2 which had turned up a bit later with another 3 guys to help. Move day arrived and we had J, C & K again and they completed our move so efficiently and cheerfully. They then delivered this van load to our new address and unloaded really quickly. The next day the same 3 guys came back again with the 1st van and unloaded in an organised manner. These lads worked like Trojans. A credit to the company. We were so pleased we chose a large company ,Britannia ,as we knew we would get a great service.

Our overall experience with Bradshaws was very good. Trevor was efficient and knowledgeable when he came out to see us originally. The office staff have been great each time we have needed to organise things and have been very flexible with dates as we hit issues with our house sale. The guys at Brittania were brilliant. Five days to pack up and move out which they did efficiently. Three days to deliver to our new house in Wales. Moving is a stressful time but the guys communicated effectively and kept things lighthearted. They even got the wardrobe, which at first refused to come from the top floor, to cooperate. The guys from Bradshaw were brilliant and I can’t thank them enough. They completely packed up everything, I haven’t had time to even organise my things prior and they didn’t mind. They also packed around me while I worked from home. The packing was done so quickly and with zero damage to any of my things.

Mark, Lynn and Pam were hugely reassuring and Trevor was excellent in explaining the whole process to us and the costs involved. Trevor patiently answered our endless questions about boxes and packing via both telephone and email. On the day we moved Jake and Paul tirelessly filled boxes, moved furniture and even stayed late on a Friday evening to make sure that we were settled once we reached our new home. We chose Britannia Bradshaw because we had used Britannia on our previous move so knew we would get excellent service. Despite 3 cancelled dates we were treated with compassion, care and efficiency. We were accommodated to fit our dates and the office staff were so friendly and helpful and reassuring that they would be able to meet our requirements. On the day before our move, which was only 5 miles away, we had Josh, Craig & Kemp turn up. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had 2 van loads and the 1st day they filled van 1 and part of van 2 which had turned up a bit later with another 3 guys to help. Move day arrived and we had J, C & K again and they completed our move so efficiently and cheerfully. They then delivered this van load to our new address and unloaded really quickly. The next day the same 3 guys came back again with the 1st van and unloaded in an organised manner. These lads worked like Trojans. A credit to the company. We were so pleased we chose a large company ,Britannia ,as we knew we would get a great service.

Tommy & Marcus did a first class job of moving us from Leicester to Suffolk. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They went above and beyond what we expected. Aaron and Jamie helped with my move to Northern Ireland on Tuesday 23rd July. They were fantastic and kept us well informed about small delays due to traffic. Once they had arrived, they did brilliantly packing up all the bigger items, as well as all the little more annoying items that I had left lying around. Fragile objects were wrapped up and transported with care!

The team arrived when expected and after a familiarisation tour of the house immediately started clearing down the upstairs. The guys were polite and respectful of the house and our property. Aaron, Craig and Camron unloaded my 40ft container today. The guys were really accommodating as it had to be unloaded into 2 separate containers. Our overall experience with Bradshaws was very good. Trevor was efficient and knowledgeable when he came out to see us originally. The office staff have been great each time we have needed to organise things and have been very flexible with dates as we hit issues with our house sale. We have done three separate moves with Bradshaws and the team that we had for each of the moves were good. They were all nice to talk with, professional and very careful with our furniture. We had Aaron, Jake and Marcus for our final move and they did a great job of putting things in the room that we asked for, positioning heavy furniture where it made sense in the rooms and making sure we were happy with the end result of everything they did. Josh, Jamie and Luke moved our furniture on December 7th 2023, they were polite, fast, efficient, careful with our belongings and went above and beyond our expectations. When our property is repaired from storm damage and we are able to return, hopefully we will get the same team to move us back again.

The team of Aaron, John and Jake has recently carried out the removal of the contents of my house in preparation for shipment to New Zealand. They were punctual, efficient and very considerate. I was entirely satisfied with the service both from them and also from Trevor who was the initial contact and who was most helpful in making arrangements for the move.
Luke, Jamie and Kemp did a sterling job moving us into our new home. A very narrow entrance to our new property was a particular challenge which was met very well both at the assessment stage and delivery on the day. Their physical strength, packing and driving skill and sense of humour made our move far less stressful. A great team backed up by their boss Mark and estimator Pam. The first day of the move had all 4 persons on it, day 2 saw Tommy and Jake unload their 40' wagon in no time flat. Highly recommended.
We had an absolutely stellar service from everyone at Britannia, from start to finish. The estimator was so knowledgeable, and the office staff were great, guiding me through the process beforehand. They answered all my questions, and were also very reassuring about my (sometimes irrational) worries. The crew that moved us over 4 days were polite, helpful, super efficient, and so understanding when I burst into tears about leaving our house after 20 years. We recently moved from Leicester to Devon with this company. Moving is a very stressful experience, especially if you have the added complication of spreading the contents of your home around different addresses, but Britannia made the job straightforward for us and were extremely helpful and reliable throughout. The guys at Brittania were brilliant. Five days to pack up and move out which they did efficiently. Three days to deliver to our new house in Wales. Moving is a stressful time but the guys communicated effectively and kept things lighthearted. They even got the wardrobe, which at first refused to come from the top floor, to cooperate. Thanks in particular to the four core guys in the team - Craig, Aaron, Chris and Luke.

This is the second time we have used Britannia Bradshaws of Leicester. The service was great first time, and even better this time round. The office staff were very helpful and attentive (thanks Lynn and Pam). The moving team (Chris, Brandon, Cory) were polite, careful, hard-working, and solved any problems as they came up. We'd recommend them to friends and family - and wouldn't hesitate to choose them again for our next move.
I would highly recommend this removal and storage company. They’ve helped me move twice and stored my house possessions for 11 months. All I can say is the service has been brilliant no matter who you deal with at Bradshaws.

The guys from Bradshaw were brilliant and I can’t thank them enough. They completely packed up everything, I haven’t had time to even organise my things prior and they didn’t mind. They also packed around me while I worked from home. The packing was done so quickly and with zero damage to any of my things.
The move was a long day but they were kind and really nice all through out, very respectful of me and my belongings.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bradshaw’s to anybody looking for a removal and storage company. Josh, Marcus, and Craig did a great job packing our belongings into storage, we were thrilled when it was the same three who arrived 5 months later to unload us.

So we had an extremely dificult house move. By far the best thing about it was Britannia Bradshaw. The team were excellent, both packing and unpacking, and the service we received from start to finish was genuingly outstanding.

From the first call we made to Britannia Bradshaws we knew that we would be in thoroughly professional hands for our move. Mark, Lynn and Pam were hugely reassuring and Trevor was excellent in explaining the whole process to us and the costs involved. We were left in no doubt that they would be able to meet the demands of our complex two-stage move and happily signed the contract. The guys who subsequently moved us were outstanding. They arrived on time, were highly proficient in packing and loading and clearly took great care of all our possessions throughout. An international move can be challenging at the best of times. If you throw Brexit and Covid into the mix, you need a removal company that knows exactly what they’re doing. And that’s just what we got with Britannia. From the very first moment we had an introductory facetime with Mark, right through to the delivery of our items in Greece, we were looked after, every step of the way. A big thank you to everyone involved. If we had to do it all again, we’d choose Britannia without any hesitation at all.

From the moment we contacted Britannia Bradshaw we found them to be professional, helpful and friendly. Trevor patiently answered our endless questions about boxes and packing via both telephone and email. On the day we moved Jake and Paul tirelessly filled boxes, moved furniture and even stayed late on a Friday evening to make sure that we were settled once we reached our new home. I cannot recommend them all highly enough. They are absolute heroes. If you are going to move house, these are the people you want by your side.
