Melksham is mentioned in the Domesday Book as a very well established settlement and the once stretching Melksham Forest was a favourite hunting ground for Tudor kings. Today, one of Wiltshire’s larger towns, Melksham continues to flourish, as more houses are built and housing developments invested in, as well as the prospering number of new businesses setting up in the area.

Parts of Melksham are very quaint and picture postcard such as the charming historic area of the town centre, including St Michael and All Angels Church, Canon Square and Church Walk.
