Cramlington Railway Station has regular services to Morpeth, Carlisle, and Newcastle. Direct trains to Newcastle from Cramlington take just 14 minutes. Cramlington is also well served by bus routes, with services to Newcastle, North Shields, Blyth, Whitley Bay and Ashington. The town also has a great cycle network, with segregated cycle lanes.
Cramlington also has great road links, being close to the A1, A189 and A19. Driving to Newcastle from Cramlington takes around half an hour. Driving to Whitley Bay also takes around half an hour and to the North Pennines Area of Natural Beauty takes 45 minutes to an hour.
Cramlington is close to Newcastle International Airport, which is a twenty-minute drive away or around 50 minutes via public transport.
