Britannia Lanes of Bristol offers removals across the local area and around the UK, but we also run an international removal and shipping service to anywhere in the world.
Some of our main destinations include Australia, Canada, New Zealand South Africa and the USA, but we manage international removals all over the globe. As members of Britannia Movers International, we have an extensive international network, with the resources to manage your move whatever size it is and for wherever you’re heading.
Fully managed international removal service
At Britannia Lanes of Bristol, we can offer you as much assistance with your move as you’d like. If you just want some advice or to hire one of our removal vehicles, that’s not a problem, but we can also offer you a trained team of packers, removers and drivers, as well as help you to arrange things like vehicle shipping and pet transport.
We’ll conduct a pre-move survey at the beginning, allowing us to work out the finer details of your international removal. This survey is crucial because it means we can correctly assess your needs and take into account any special requirements. We’ll also use the survey to advise on whether your belongings need to be shipped in their own container or sent as part of a shared load consignment.
Arranging your shipping
If you do need a sole use container for your international move, we will pack your steel shipping containers outside your home. The containers will then be sealed and transported to the docks for shipment. If your belongings don’t fill a whole container, we will load your items and transport them jointly with other loads being shipped to the same destination.
If you’re planning to take your car with you abroad, Britannia Lanes of Bristol can arrange this for you. We would advise that you check the rules and regulations with your destination country first, to ensure there are no issues with taking your car. We’ll then arrange to have it transported over for you.
We can also arrange for any items to be sent urgently by air freight as well, but please let us know as soon as possible if this service is required.
On the ground services
As well as sorting the transportation of your goods by sea and air, we also offer a comprehensive service on the ground as well. Our packing service includes a team of professionally trained, experienced packers who will ensure all of your belongings are securely wrapped. They’ll load everything carefully and use the highest quality materials to provide maximum safety. We’ll also use custom casings for unusual, fragile or especially valuable items.
Britannia Lanes also offers storage services, so if you need to keep some belongings to one side while you get settled in abroad, we can arrange this for you. Whether you’re after long-term secure storage or want to arrange for self-storage, we can help – just let us know your requirements.
