Britannia Pink & Jones – About

Britannia Pink & Jones, sister branch of Britannia Harrison & Rowley, is a family owned professional removal company that was established over 120 years ago. We are also one of the founding members of Britannia Movers International Plc – a national group of the UK’s finest family owned removal companies.

Britannia Pink & Jones was established in 1885. Mr Pink founded the company with Mr Jones to move the clergymen at the diocese of Peterborough, and then went on to offer comprehensive removal services to the general public in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire, offering their services to the nearby cities of Bedford, Cambridge and Northampton.

Britannia Pink & Jones were the first Northamptonshire removals company to be awarded the British Standard BS EN 12522 (Domestic Removals for Private Individuals) and we are members of the BAR (British Association of Removers).

As part of Britannia Movers network, we are able to offer our customers all the resources and expertise of one of the world’s most respected moving organisations that’s enhanced by a unique personal service; and we are committed to upholding the highest standards of service in every aspect of our operation.

In 2024, Britannia Alan Cook expanded by acquiring neighbouring Britannia Pink & Jones, further strengthening their presence and capabilities in the region.
