Borehamwood is in TFL Zone 6 and Elstree & Borehamwood Railway Station is located on the west side of town. There are regular and frequent trains to central London, which takes around 25 minutes.

The 107 bus run by Metroline travels through the town, going from New Barnet to Edgeware. There’s also the number 292 bus run by London Sovereign that travels to north-west London. The bus company Uno run a service that goes through Borehamwood and on to Welwyn Garden City via St Albans. There are also various other routes that run to Hatfield and other parts of Hertfordshire.

The A1 Road runs by the town, which is also between the M1 and the M25. Driving to central London takes around an hour. Driving to Watford takes 20 minutes and to Hatfield takes around 15 minutes.
