History of Britannia W Harris Moovit

Moovit Transport Services was founded in 1967 by John and Christie Wicks. A year later, Moovit acquired W. Harris of Chelmsford, originally established in the 1920s. W Harris Moovit has since experienced a steady expansion of the business, and whilst originally starting the company with a large shed and one vehicle, W Harris comprises of 10 vehicles, over 20 employees, two container warehouses and a self storage facility today.

The company joined the British Association of Removers (BAR) in 1970 and Britannia Movers International in 1989, which greatly expanded the company’s domestic and international removal services. W Harris Moovit is nowadays recognised as a reliable removal company that provides a quality and professional service to its customers.
