It has been a sad and strange year for many. With people missing out on family celebrations, Halloween, and Bonfire Night, many are left wondering what will be happening regarding Christmas. However, one clever young lady brought a smile to the faces of the Britannia Fleet team.
To commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth men and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts, Nancy Fleet took pen to paper to write a remembrance poem. Nancy, aged 8, is Managing Director Mal Fleet’s granddaughter.
Decorated with traditional red poppies, the poem talks of Flanders Fields, the heroes of the war, and the birds that sing there today. Take a look at Nancy’s touching poem below:
