Britannia Alan Cook is proud to extend its community support to two local football teams – Bungay Town Football Club and Shrublands U8s.
Britannia Alan Cook has sponsored Bungay Town Football Club for a while now but was excited to see the new kits featuring Britannia’s new logo for the first time. The adult team sponsored by Alan Cook currently play in the Anglian Combination Division One. The club, also known as the Black Dogs, provide opportunity for football for those aged 4 to 50 at their base at the Maltings Meadow Sports Ground.
This is the first year that Britannia Alan Cook has sponsored Shrublands U8s, featuring on the team’s away kit. One of Britannia Alan Cook’s employee’s son plays for the team, so they were delighted to get involved. The team plays in the Norfolk & Suffolk Youth Football League, which includes 31 local teams.
Britannia Alan Cook has requested a signed football shirt from the Shrublands U8s team, to add to the “walk of fame” at HQ – you can read more about the company’s connection to football in our Norwich Football Club article.
