Britannia Squab Keeps Setting the Standard in Removals

Planning a move overseas? Then the local privately owned removals business, Britannia Squab Group, is well placed to help having recently attained BS 8564 – a quality standard relating specifically to overseas removals. This demonstrates all-round best practice in many areas of the Britannia Squab business which operates from Bishops Tachbrook, and the overall service it offers to both domestic and commercial clients.

BS 8564 gives clients moving or relocating abroad additional reassurance that their possessions are receiving the best possible care in the knowledge that they are also receiving the highest levels of professional service.

“Overseas removals are an expanding area of the Britannia Squab business. Over recent years, we have invested in the best fleet of vehicles for this very purpose, as well as training initiatives for our experienced personnel. This has been recognised in our BS 8564 accreditation which underlines our commitment to providing the best possible service for overseas moves,” says Emlyn Evans – Managing Director, Britannia Squab.

The BS 8564 audit covers a raft of practices and work ethics from the initial point of contact and quotation, to the competence and professionalism of personnel, the suitability and condition of vehicles and equipment, packing materials, documentation, insurance cover and loss/damage compensation, communication, health and safety as well as overall quality control, customer service and satisfaction.

It is not just overseas moves that have dominated recent Quality audits. Britannia Squab has also retained all of its British Standard Quality accreditations across the Group, namely BS EN 12522 for Domestic Removals, BS EN 14873 for Domestic Storage and BS EN 15696 for Self-Storage.

As members of Britannia Movers International, Britannia Squab benefits from being part of a network of over 40 independent family run movers around the UK, providing reassurance of a high-calibre service however large or small the move, nationally or internationally.
