Many areas will have specific timings and periods where permits are required – signs on your road will provide more information for your situation. A parking permit doesn’t guarantee you’ll get a space on your road, but it does mean you won’t get a ticket for parking in the CPZ. Westminster resident parking permits are valid for 12 months. The cost is dependent on the engine size of your vehicle. Vehicles with an engines size under 1200cc cost £112.00 and vehicles with an engine size of 1200CC and higher costs £158.00. Electric and eco vehicles are free, but you will still need to register the vehicle with the permit department by applying for an eco-permit.
