Despite mixed experiences in the past, we decided to recruit apprentices in 2019, there is an ongoing driver shortage in the UK and this seemed a logical step.
We recruited Adrian North and James Connolly in early 2019 in what seems like a real win win relationship for both the business and the guys. James and Adrian are getting a vocational qualification and at the same time getting the opportunity to work alongside our skilled employees and learn what the moving business is all about. At the end of the scheme they should have the opportunity to stay on for the long term as part of the Britannia Bradshaw of Birmingham team.
